New Opeth DVD + Old Songs!

It would if they couldn't mix some of the "fans" in the crowd out of the mix, during the first set. They are still too audible on the DVD, although far less obvious.

I thought my girlfriend was going to smack one of them...

yeh on the DVD there were all these fat wannabe goth girls (you know the type, black makeup etc) who were trying to scream 'Opeth!' in a death growl. They just ended up sounding like complete retards / marylin manson fans (delete as appropriate). Fools.

I hate that record labels does this. Just look at the new Anathema-DVD, it could have been so much better. We will probably never see live-recordings from Alternative 4 or Eternity on a DVD.

I hope that Opeth solves this though.
Add me to the list.

I honestly think this is a poll better done AFTER Opeth record the new album.

No, better done before they sign a deal. By the way, you didn't signed! Shall I add you to the list? :err:

I dont like the idea of having petitions for every tiny little thing either.
But i think Live-DVDs is a fairly big deal when it comes to music.
I dont think this petition will have an impact.
But It doesnt hurt to add my name to the list and show that i agree with it. We are just showing the band that we really care about it.

First, this petition started as an attempt to make some people laugh; second, I don't know if it will have an impact or not but, who cares? I'm just saying that I'd love to see a master-piece Opeth DVD and that that involves including material from previous albums. A lot of people agree with me, and it's good that Mikael gets to know that a lot of people would be interested in getting such a DVD.

But, some people take this forum way too serious...
