I only passively listened to that song, but nothing really caught my attention.
I do respect his stance though, gotta write for yourself to keep the fire going. I know myself, the moment I write anything that sounds like anything else I've written, I almost feel guilty, like something is weighing on my conscience or something.
And I've hardly written an albums worth of material thus far.
And in a band like Opeth, or any progressive band like that, you can't really grow expectations for their next move, you're bound to be disappointed.

Not in the slightest. I did buy Februus by Uneven Structure though and I find it boring as hell. The cover art is awsome though, so at least its decorative...

You know... I simply love every Opeth album but the latest. I do like the cover art on the deluxe... it's hard to beat.
