My the will play heavy stuff and it's gonna be the end of that TV channel...so Opeth will be honored to attend its apocalypse .
I tried to watch that channel live online but they told me that i can't do it from Tunisia :s

Ok, on opeth.com it says that they will play two songs from Watershed. So that's probably Burden and Porcelain Heart, or Coil.

Actually, Coil is highly probable. Think about it, this song would never be played live unless it was for a TV show or something similar to a Melloboat show (multi-band festival with a more intimate atmosphere). Axe's girl will probably make a showing, and Coil will be the first song. The second song, I'm thinking, would be the radio edit of Burden (bonus surprise that perhaps also acoustic??). This is what will happen if both songs are from Watershed. Neither song has been done live yet. Bets??

^ I think it being TV and all, they'll be forced to keep it short. This will be the only influence on song choices. Maybe PH instead of Burden, but I'd think they'd go for the better tune. Either way, they'll probably be radio edits. Then again, I know nothing about Swedish TV...

Yes they have. There's a bootleg of that show circling around teh interwebs. All songs are the mellow ones on there and among them is TBYF.

Here's a very good sounding bootleg of TBYF, Paris, 2003. Very funny intro, "we believe in the Lord", "dont laugh Scorpions, everybody laughs Scorpions, they were fucking fantastic"... and a brilliant performance... enjoy!

This was the second Opeth Paris show in 2003 and it was an all acoustic evening. Playlist consisted mostly of Damnation songs (same setlist as on Lamentations), plus some older stuff, including TBYF and Benighted and FOM which i will post here. SOF cover was there as well. I have the entire show, but you may be better off if you get Soulseek downloading program, it is rich with cool bootlegs... enjoy

i think so too.
i really expected nathalie to follow them in their winter 2008 tour, to play coil followed by heir apparent... that didn't happen but even if i expressed my complaints about a totally predictable setlist... opeth is still special to me and will hopefully do better next spring or whenever i'll see them again

enjoy the close-up festival also for me guys!
