Im a fan of Porcupine Tree and Blackfield and Im kinda interested in every Steven Wilson projects but haven't had time to get to know them. That sounde pretty nice for sure.

Does it differ from PT or Blackfield that much or is it the same sounding stuff?

I doubt that there will be any covers. I saw an interview with him and he was talking about this solo album. He basically said that it would be very dynamic.

I read in some interviews it will be very diverse and contain a lot of different stuff that he created over the years. So there will be 'traditional' pop/rock songs as well as electronic, ambient stuff etc. Anyway, definitely looking forward to this. Good chance it will not be released before 2009 btw.

Martijn, you smart-ass, you are wrong, it says on PT's official site that it will be released in November for online ordering and will see a regular retail release in early 2009, so well, granted, you were partly right actually..
