Since i need to retube from the stock shitty tubes in my 333, i wonder which i should choose. I had initially set my eyes on a 6L6GC matched set from eurotubes.com, but as i just found out, its a US store... even though it's named eurotubes... Oh well.
Fact is though, that since it's from the US, the tax would kill me.
So can i get something equally badass in EU?
If so, which tubes would you suggest? Since the amp already has a kind of a mesa'ish vibe to it, i'd like to amplify that quality. So going for a Mark/Recto ish tone, is what i'd like. Great attack, nice thick thump to it, with a crystal clear and smooth top end.
If you can come up with something that should cover that, please do tell. And if any of you have other suggestions, your ofcourse welcome to give your 5 cents.
