I don't thinklike the intro too much...however the rest of the track is pretty good.


and whoever said they're trying to imitate Opeth....you can ask the guy yourself; there is a forum on here for them after all...

I understood perfectly. This is what you said "There are a lot of bands that people like on this forum that try to do what opeth do and they fail miserably at it". I could careless if you like the band or not but saying they're trying to imitate Opeth is completely wrong and makes the band look bad.

well then you didnt understand it, if you think i meant imitate. If i meant that theyre trying to imitate opeth, i'd say "there are many bands that are trying to imitate opeth." I didn't say that. Here's what i mean, spelled out for you: Many bands try to be dynamic like opeth, such as having acoustic mellow moments and heavy moments, but I think that they suck at doing that, unlike opeth. I dont mean theyre copying opeth's sound. I just mean what they go for is kind of like what opeth goes for, but theyre not as good. To be fair, I havent heard a lot of Woods of Ypres, but thats by design because ive heard nothing from them that makes me want to hear more.

I've not heard any of their songs, but I did check out their forum and one of the band members has horrible red hair.

that would be Jessica... she's always had weird hairstyles and stuff but she is a very nice girl from the times i've met her
