Though I like SYL, that's not a good band to hear how good Gene is. You need to listen to Death's Individual Thought Patterns, and Symbolic albums. He is also on Testament's Demonic album. With SYL, Gene just does a straightfoward blast beat type of drumming. He's also on the Old Man's Child 3rd album Ill Natured Spiritual Invasion album.
