Watched the Wings RED vs WHITE exhibition game today and goddamn Damien Brunner just tore the ice up. He was setting up Z with great shots every time he was on the ice and single handedly set up Z's goal.

If he can keep this up during regular games and have a bit of consistency this kid has what it takes to be our next star forward.

Tatar was making some sick plays too, wish he was up wearing the Winged Wheel this year instead of over in Grand Rapids

Colaiacovo was bad, Ericsson was good. Glad E is proving me right in thinking he would continue to develop. Hopefully this leads to Kindl getting more playing time.

Sad that we had to go to the SO to beat the Blue Jackets, but a win is a win. We looked much better offensively, but our defense was still fucking awful (outside Lashoff who for being a last minute call up played damn good AND scored our first goal of the season )!

Brunner got us the win in the SO with an absolutely sick Datsyukian move

Good start Bs. I love Juliens take this year. When the Bruins won the cup they were first a full out checkn team that could score goals. Last year they were a team that scored then checked. Back to the keys of success check and play D first then the goals will come. Their team defense and special teams are seemingly off the charts and Tuukka in net will be just fine cause of this. The only thing that concerns is the ability of their offense to finish...bend the twine and they can take it all again. Rookie Dougie Hamilton is scary...next in line of great Bruin D-men.

That being said the Rangers (on paper) are loaded and my pick for the cup. As much as I hate the Rangers and the fact that this prediction and scenerio has failed before...I only hope so again

Don't need to tell me bro I've been following this team and game for a very long time. I know Thomas's play was historic and a obvious key. But he also benefited from great D-men...Chara and Siendenberg were rediculous and they had an amazing team defense. As good as Thomas was the Bs won because of grit, defense and 4 consistent lines that were committed to playing two ways better than any other team that year...period! Balance worked this time instead of having one / two great lines.
