another thing on 'rube' - IIRC, it's also used to mean like a 'sucker'... used by carnival folk (eek!) to describe the people that they're trying to convince to partake of their entertainment... like, the guy that pays 5 bucks to see the bearded lady is a rube. same basic thing - unsophisticated loser who can be suckered easily.

which is kind of the reason i asked the question regarding the song Saw You Drown. seems to be a fiting tribute(SYD), wouldn't you say?
