NitND vs. TGCD: Round 10

D&TtS has extreme highs and lows for me. It's the first Katatonia song with an up beat feel to it, which something I'd like to hear a bit more of in the future. Stellar first verse, but the chorus is just plain goofy and ruins the song for me. Probably the only post BMD section that I downright dislike.

Speaking of the chorus, the one on In The White is an absolutely haunting and timeless melody. I agree that the chorus on Day & Then The Shade is no good. I feel like it is 'just there' and it I don't feel anything emotionally during that section of the song.

Haha, me too. It became my least favorite on the album because of that video, but now I'm starting to like it more again. In the White is probably one of my favorite Katatonia songs so this was the easiest of these polls for me actually.
