Hey, just getting back into metal, I've been listening to stuff like Opeth, Cephalic Carnage, Metallica, and I really like Dethklok (yes, I know it's a joke/fictional band but Brendan Small makes some fucking amazing music). Any recommendations would be great.

Thanks for the recommendation, I did take a look at them and really dug what I heard. I also found myself really digging Goatwhore, any recommendations there?

If you like Goatwhore you might want to check out the Behemoth album "Pandemonic Incantations". It's really similar in style.

Dethklok is basically a really bad version of newer Amon Amarth with some symphonic crap.
If you like Opeth try Orphaned Land, Swallow The Sun, Katatonia, and Agalloch.
Also seconding the Behemoth rec, you can also check out their last couple to hear the style on Pandemonic developed further.
If you like Metallica, try the other big thrash bands; Slayer, Megadeth, Sodom, Kreator, Destruction, Testament, Exodus, etc.

Orphaned Land? ew...And Amon Amarth, personally, got extremely boring for me, and they rip off their own riffs all the time
You'd probably like Ikuinen Kaamos though, In Mourning is good as well
