Thanks. Unfortunately, that's still two days off from work - I can only handle one right now. That's the main reason I'm having so much trouble (of course, the finances as well, $450 is still a heap of money and I would still need transportation to and from the airport). I'll keep working on it though.

Well, the fest is only a day. You can miss one day of work (Friday) and then fly back Sunday sometime. This, of course, assuming you can find a flight for a reasonable price to meet your budget.

Yeah, that's what I'm trying to do, but there are three things holding up the Sunday flights. First, to get me home at a reasonable time I have to leave insanely early on Sunday, which I'm not willing to do because I won't be able to have any fun the night before, and second, if I leave later in the day, I get home at an unreasonable time and wouldn't get all the way home until after midnight (after at least an hour drive), then have to work the next day. Last but not least, the Sunday flights start at over $550.

I found one flight that isn't entirely unreasonable - leaves at 1:05 and gets back to FLA at 10:17 pm, but it's $750.

I just keep going in circles on this thing.
