Now Listening To thread

Another underrated gem..............

Found this Canadian (relocated from Chile though) band recently. Could be a cool add but I don't know if they play shows or not. Vocals are kind of irritating but you get used to them after a while. Songs are great though!

I like it. I see what you mean in terms of the vocals though. Her approach is a bit odd.

That actually wasn't that bad, but not really my thing.
Vocalist definitely was heavily influenced by Cronos, no????

When it comes to black metal, I have come to this.
Definitely cool live, but for some reason its just something I can't get into on any recorded format.

Over the past few days I listened to:

Salem's Law - Tale of Goblins' Breed
Helloween - Better Than Raw
Insania (Ger) - Face Your Agony
Blind Guardian - Imaginations From the Other Side
Summoning - Lugburz
Judas Priest - Painkiller
Arcana - ...The Last Embrace
The Immortal (Ger) - The RASH Sessions

Only five of those eight bands are German. How unusual!

Best German band? I haven't listened to Gamma Ray for like a week.

I don't think there's any dispute about Summoning being the best Austrian band. They don't have a lot of competition. Maybe Hollenthon.
