nice. those are my two favorite live rock albums ever actually. excellent choices. its a shame neither UFO nor Thin Lizzy get any mention on this forum, i think a lot of people might enjoy them...given the lead guitar harmonies and "driving" groovy songs.

Schenker put to Shame 99% of Shreddy guitar players with his lyrical soloing.
Truely one of a Kind.
Those two live albums are indeed classics.

And Thin Lizzy's Still In Love in You : isn't it the most soulful hard rock ballad ever ? Lynnott had such an emotional way of singing ...R.I.P
Scott Gorham and Brian Robertson were a killer combo and they are the real creators of the twin harmonized guitar thing ( along with Wishbone Ash ) IMO, Steve Harris must have listened to Thin Lizzy quite a bit .

FYI and Scorpions fans, Scorpions just made an historical show in Wacken this year with an orgasmic 70's setlist with special guests :

Michael Shenker
Uli Jon Roth
The original Drummer

i saw thin lizzy AND scorpions together in one night about a month ago. wasnt the reunion lineup quite like THAT, but it was a tasty show still. those first 4 lizzy 3 scorpions records are untouchable.

and thats a good observation on Steve Harris with getting some of his ideas with the harmonies...Thin Lizzy, Boston and Wishbone Ash were all extremely crucial in that twin/harmony lead sound that was developed in the mid/late 70s and early 80s.

I did yesterday actually. Custom made for the coach of the Lakers. What did you do yesterday? Besides play with yourself to those scrambled images of softcore porn on those adult channels you cant afford?
