good album if i recall correctly, in my opinion Storm of the lights bain is more satisfying to listen too. only in myooinion tho.

I like Storm of the Light's Bane better too, but I don't have it ripped to my comp. That album was so asstight it almost frightened me the first time.
I think i played that album almost straight for a week.

The second track on that album is one of the most exciting metal songs ive ever heard. Its pretty much perfect.

The progression from the intro into Night's Blood is one of the best, if not the best (imo) album opening I have ever heard.

Ya most definatley. every part of that song, the arrangements, drum fills, the way the vocals and are articulated to suit the way the music flows/moves.

lizst's transcription of the 5th is the best of his transcriptions of the beethoven symphonies. the final movement of the 9th also works great. but of course, apart from marveling at how well lizst transcribed these works to the piano, i don't usually listen to them. the original is surely much more special. beethoven's orchestration is excellent.
who is the pianist on your recording? i only have it from idil biret.

edit: i just listened to katsaris' recording of liszt's transcription of the third. it sound more like a beethoven piano work than a work by liszt on this one. the biret recording sounds a little more romantic.
