You could almost justify it by saying you might be listening to two things at once, like right now I'm listening to Dirty Pretty Things and the tapping of my fingers on the keyboard.

Occasionally though, I listen to one thing on the tele whilst listening to another on the computer. You don't really get to appreciate it but I'm impatient and i'm pretty sure I'm slightly autistic.

But since I just put both the things I'm listening to into one sentence on one thread, I'm pretty sure everyone else will be more than capable.
