i think i've learned my lesson with overplaying bands, and specific cds too..many months down the road, the enjoyment i got from listening is greatly diminished for me, if i listen to the band to death.

lol yeah I did this a lot in high school, especially with Led Zeppelin. Some ~3 years later I'm finally starting to be able to listen to them again.
