I want to get into this band and by my tastes i should be a fan but something holds me back. I think its the vocalist, i love emotional music but he's a bit too dramatic.

Haha. Stop being my music twin ffs I've tried for like 300 lastfm listens to get into the band but I mostly found them decent. The trick is to forget the songs are actually songs, 'cause it's just about atmosphere

NP: Hypocrisy - Global Domination

I know I probably shouldn't say this but being "intoxicated" to them makes them incredible to listen to, the layers of their music start to blend together. The band is an aquired taste, but incredibly underrated in terms of talent. I absolutely love the vocalist, I haven't heard anyone like him that can do really great raspy vocals and insane song singing variations, aside from probably mikael.

I mean seriously, just listen to this quite great lyrical intensity:

Novembrine Waltz is their best album imo but materia and even the blue is quite great. If you aren't a fan of progressive style music and just a fan of metal, well, you should reconsider. I honestly can't wait for their next album, Novembre is easily in my top 3 favorite bands ever.

Music twin 4 life yo , i guess they create a nice atmosphere but i've pretty much given up on them at this point.
