NYC/NJ area metal shows, coming up

10/10 albums can have skip tracks IMO. Not more than 1-2, depending on the utter awesomeness of everything else.

Only if they're merely skippable and not overt suckage, and don't bring the momentum of the album down for too long...the classic example being Dawn Patrol (sorry NAD)...for me a 10 has to be at least 90% perfection.

do you guys remember this kind of power metal band ... CITIES?
they are playing at NOrthSix on 4/13 ...

and fucking Morbid Angel is coming up on the 9th ... anyone going?

ok ... i am actually very interested in possibly witnessing this train wreck ...

MTV.com is reporting that the current incarnation of GUNS N' ROSES will be performing a pair of concerts at New York's Hammerstein Ballroom before they head to Europe for a string of festival appearances, according to a press release from concert promoter Live Nation.

Tickets for both shows — set for May 15 and 17 — will set fans back $63, and go on sale April 21 at 10 a.m. Doors open for both nights at 7:30 p.m. There's no word yet on who might be opening for GUNS N' ROSES, or whether there will be an opener at all.

never seen them ...

there are rumors flying all over the place of a reunion for the Euro Festivals ...

Oh man, you missed the Slash/Izzy/Duff line up? Saw them with Skid Row opening.

Rumors? No it's a done deal. They're booked for several shows I think, Gods of Metal included.

The question is, is Axl going to show up this time?
