I don't drink soda anyway, unless it is mixed with Crown Royal, Makers Mark, or Cpt. Morgan. But I picked some Pepsi Blue today at the grocery. Egads, I don't know which is worse, it or the new Dr. Pepper. Nasty rot gut soda pop.

I never heard of Blue Pepsi til my sister mentioned it the other day. I thought it was something of a future plan, not that it was already out. Supposed to be blueberry flavor or something??? I was disappointed enough with Vanilla Coke that I'll be staying away from anything new for quite a while.

I think it tastes like cream soda, which my husband tells me IS vanilla, but I hate cream soda so why would I know that much about it?? I drank two sips and let the rest go flat in my fridge.

As I've said before, I don't drink soda at all unless I use it as a mixer, but on a side note, I went shopping last night at the Meijers one town over (I always go shopping at one or two in the morning) and I found a case of Gatorade Frost in the parking lot. I guess it had fallen off the truck because two of the bottles were damaged, but the I took the other twenty-two botlles home. I tried mixing it with Bacardi but it tasted like shit, but if I mix it with Stoli's, it tastes a little like vodka and Redbull. So tonight I'm sitting on the patio with my laptop, grilling hot mets, and drinking Stoli's and free Gatorade. (Now if I could only find a free case of Maker's outside the liquor store....)

Stay away from mixing Gatorade and vodka though. I made that mistake in high school. It's like drinking fruity rubbing alcohol (or at least what I would imagine that would taste like).

Stoli's is my vodka of preference, and with Gatorade Frost, it's not that bad. Although I'm a little tipsy already so my judgement is questionable....

My favorite vodka is actually Baalta. Excellent stuff! I'm serious when I say it is in the same league as Belvedere and Grey Goose. Not that there is anything wrong w/ Stoli LOL
I've never tried Baalta. I've tried Belvedere and Grey Goose (which is supposed to be the best in the world), but I still prefer Stoli's. Old habits die hard, I guess....

The Elks in my town used to have these flavored cherries made by and for Grey Goose for Goose martinis......man alive, they ruled times ten.

Pepsi blue isn't as bad as Red Fusion, but it's still bad. I've had two bottles of it, and still hate it. It took me two bottles to get hooked on Code Red MD.
Thanks J! It is 9 am, and I am just now rolling in from a night at the bar. It started off innocently as a night in front of my Mac, but after reading about Mr. Stoli and Gatorade, me, Mr. ZeroWillPower had to go out, and then of course I had to go home with my favorite bar floozies after a night of vodka...........it's hell having the summer off................
