I don't know if I would read that much into it. I sure do not like Obama, but it is a simple offering of respect. This could just be an issue of not wanting to shake the hand of a foreign dignitary before that of their president. Then again, you never know.

I've always felt Obamas presidency highlighted a similar situation, in that a black man is now the figurehead the same old group of money grabbing white honkeys.
