I have some sympathy for the movement, but I don't align myself with it, because a lot of things about it seem problematic to me. There is, of course, a big problem with corporatism/crony capitalism over here, but a lot of the views in this movement that I've seen expressed are either vague and platitudinous, stupid, or downright unhinged. Where I live we have our own version of this Occupy thing and I follow its facebook page pretty frequently. There are some reasonable people out there, but I also see a lot of glib talk about the economy by people whose knowledge about it doesn't seem to go much farther beyond what you might find in a Mother Jones article. And then there are all the anarcho-communists and other assorted assholes coming out of the woodwork. Some of these people say blatantly anti-white, racist things (it's usually coming from spoiled, self-loathing whites) and nobody gives a shit. And then there is a lot of anti-capitalist sentiment, which I definitely do not agree with. Go ahead, children, throw out the baby with the bathwater and then come and tell me how much you love the egalitarian dystopia you've foisted on everybody.
