October Tide??

I have already posted what I had trancribed with another person several times on this forum; Just search for it and you'll get what is done. But that's too hard to find everything without the help of Jonas and Martin Hansen. There are so much words which can be heard from one single syllabe.
it takes a lot of time to transcibe the whole of it, listening to the same sentences again and again, trying to guess the final word, knowing that you're probably totally wrong about the beginning of it. It almost drove me insane to do that! Jonas helped me on Losing Tomorrow & Lost in the Dark and then Gone, which was great...
If anyone is interesting in continuing the transcribtions, I can send all I got from grey dawn and Rain Without End, but please make an effort to contribute to it. There are so many people who just took the lyrics and never sent anything back...I find this so rude
cause I've spent so many hours on it. Anyway, let me know if you're honest!

I have the Grey Dawn album and really like it. I got it when it first came out, played the hell out of it and still like it. I'm a huge Opeth fan too and I don't really think the 2 sound alike. Yeah the disharmony is kick ass on Grey Dawn too btw. I've only heard a few songs off Rain Without End and they were cool but not as original as the Grey Dawn stuff. Better production on Grey Dawn too. I saw the thread starter here is from Ill and if that's anything like where I am (IN), I'd recommend ordering any October Tide stuff online.

I mailed to Avantgarde Music a few days ago about licensing and rereleasing Rain Without End. Just came to my mind... hell, they did it with Jhva Elohim Meth, so why wouldn't they do it with something which is just as much sought after. I gave them a couple of links to Rain Without End -items on EBay, which I hope to convince them. Heh. Some of you are surely ready to lynch me, but I hope they take my advice. :) I haven't got a proper answer yet, so I'm hoping that my mail has gotten to some higher guy in the label. :)

PS. The effect would be stronger if more people mailed about this. So go ahead and send mail to Avantgarde Music about the issue. :) Here's the address: greylife@tin.it

Oh... Forgot to mention that I already have Grey Dawn, so I didn't bother to ask him about rereleasing it. :) BTW that's one hell of record, which makes it a sad thing for it to be out of stock. So all of you who haven't got: mail Avantgarde about rereleasing it. ;)

I hate when good albums become almost impossible to be gotten. It's up to us to let them know that here are people who are ready pay some hard earned money for something they could release. For your information, I actually do have received an answer (which didn't however have any answer to my main question) for my mail from a guy in Avantgarde and he said that he had given his copy of Rain Without End for free just some time ago and that he wouldn't have done that, if he had known that it was so sought after. Life's hard... :|

EDIT: Damn I hate those smiley icons! :(

I got a copy of Rain Without End signed by JVV Valkenburg. I actually got the cd from JVV. He is the cover artist. he had a few copies and sold me one. including shipping from Netherlands to USA it was 55.

Where can I get the cds? Thanks

I'm still looking for their first one myself. Grey Dawn might be available from Walls of fire (www.wofshop.de). I received one copy from them yesterday, after a long wait. They told me that the delay was due to that they had to "reorder" that record, so there is a chance they have some copies in stock.

My copy of "Grey Dawn" is from www.demonware.com
I think there are still some left, for only €11,00!!!

"Rain Without End" came today. Got it for around €40,00 incl. shipping from eBay. It's worth every Cent!

Damn, why they don't continue making new albums... Both RWE and GD are awesome!
