October Tide.........

Any thoughts on this band, or am I the only one who has heard of them?

I like them quite a bit.

i like them... basically "sounds of decay" (katatonia) all over again. it might help their sound if they had a bit of vocal variety.

Personally I think October Tide has a lot to offer over early Katatonia. I love 'em. Kind of sounds like a much more simple, more doomy Opeth. Great melody, wonderful bleak, depressing, dark soundscapes. I think the vox are killer too. They've got quite a few songs on mp3.com. Highly recommended!

yeah you are the only one , i've only got grey dawn, and its great, have a look at bloodbath too in case you haven't heard of them.

Grey Dawn is utterly stunning! Too bad, Jonas thinks the two albums are shit, so it's not likely there'll be another one....

I've "acquired" the 'Rain Without End' CD, and I must say I like it even better than 'Grey Dawn', I think it is because it's a touch closer to 'Brave Murder Day'.
