Odyssey scored #3 on my Top 25 of 2002

I just love the CD, I listen to it on my way to work all the time. Recently it has been either 'The Odyssey' or 'Twilight in the Olympus'. It's cool how I never feel the need to skip a track of any of SX's cd's, gotta love em all.
 
Nile is cookie monster metal..... basically the drummer just does blast beats as fast as he can for a long time while the guitar players pick as fast as possible and the singer growls as low as he can in an awful attempt to sound like a badass. To top it off, the production is HORRID. A friend told me about the song Black Seeds of Vengeance awhile ago, so I downloaded the song and what a fucking mistake it was.

For the record, I had 'The Odyssey' ranked at #4 in my Top 25 2002 list, beaten only by Dark Tranquillity (#1), Satyricon (#2) and Vader (#3).
