tell you what, the funeral portrait forum is actually a good place to talk to the people that like opeth n stuff It is a pity tho that there isnt alot of people on there i know.

I wish it were as easy as asking him what he wants. I've never had direct contact with the guy. Anna is kind of the proxy between the wishes of the entire Opeth camp and the mods. Just for the record, she's not harsh, she's in fact really nice, but at times I just wonder who's wishes I'm supporting by handling things the way I do on here. In the past it seems that the Opeth management's views have clashed with Opeth themselves (the bootleg issue).

Look as chris said, all topics end up off-topic. And a topic like "favourite drink" was completely harmless. I understand being a moderator, you must stick to the rules, but you have to realize why the rules were implemented in the first place.

yeah, and i think we kind of know each other already... so... well... yeah... sometimes its not really fun to discuss what song is our favorite... when it's been discussed 10 times before.... i'll be honest and say thati mostly check the threads to see what funny shit blimey or anybody else will come up with and have some fun more than to see how good everyone thinks the bridge for this or that song is.....

I have a feeling Opeth are often as stuck as yu, Moonlapse. Record companies/management can be a bitch, and I reckon 'peth just wanna watch their asses. And who can blame them?

Yeah, I got to the point too where I'm more here to see what certain people have said than to actually discuss Opeth songs. I mean, I like to discuss that, but not every day.

I'm probably forgetting people, but, when I go on this forum, it's more to check out peoples clever and funny responses. Don't get me wrong, I still love discussing Opeth, but its all been done before. I can tell you off the top of my head that worldwide suicides favorite album is GR, and that Tubb mcgee's is Deliverance. Thats because it's been discussed till it died...

that's what i'm talking about... although talking about opeth should be the priority here, (which is)... we have to realise that we are humans... humans talking to humans, with few exceptions.. coughatrocitycough... but you can't limit humans' need for communication to just one topic... especially when these humans talk to each other on a daily basis most of the time... so OT threads are always gonna be here.... like it or not, approved by the band/mods or not.
