CORE ANTHRAX FUKHEDS:

Cover's almost done. What else would you like to see in the inlay materials, tray card, on the CD etc? I know it's important as most of you will download it, and everybody else will throw the case away and stick it in a CD holder :). It'll have the obligatory photos, lyrics, thanks but I was wondering if anybody had ideas of something they'd like to see, info they want, add ons, format. Do you like fold outs, booklets etc... I've got some ideas and I'd like to see yours, I've sold out so bad.

/Brentney:mad: :D :)

I like the collage of pictures type stuff. And lyrics. Lyrics are good.

I just don't want to see any political bullshit in there. I was SO PISSED when I saw the, "We support Handgun Control Inc." In big bold letters in the liner notes of Volume 8. Ok guys, I love the band but don't use it as some kind of tree-hugging, Sarah Brady loving activist material. The ironic part of this is, in the collage of pictures it shows Scott holding a Heckler & Koch MP5 submachinegun. So what is that saying, you can have a submachinegun but not a handgun? It made me very mad at the time. But through the help of drugs and psychiatric help, I'm feeling much better. ;)

The reason there was line about Anthrax supporting handgun control was due to the death of Frankie's brother. The machine gun pic was probably an oversite.

I'd like to see a booklet as opposed to a fold out. Instead of one big collage poster, spread it out over a few pages so that the pictures can be bigger. Also, a picture disc is always cool. Maybe some KISS like gimmick, like a rub on tattoo or something. Oh yeah, and if there was a multimedia section like on the Maiden remasters, that would be cool, too.

They didn't put that in there to be "political". I understand what you're saying, you don't want that with your entertainment, but they had a reason to feel strongly about it. Frankie's bro, Charlies nephew, as everyone here knows, was killed......with a gun.

I just want to see alot of stuff, stuff to read, stuff to look at and maybe some cool inserts, like when Megadeths Crptic Writings first came out, there was a baseball card of Vic, which I thought was cool., just put in intersting stuff because I like the Cd booklet(Iprefer booklet to fold-out) as much as the music. I will sit for hours looking through the booklet and listening to the Cd

I think it´s cool to have the lyrics but also ALOT of pics and SURE AS HELL multimedia extras please:)
And in a BOOKLET not a fold out.

okey,okey I give up...throw in a notman papperdoll too..

why not make it a big BOX!! :)

ps.
Sott!!! YOU´RE THE MAN!! :headbang:
I will name my kid after you!!:D

Pics! just pictureds of the guys hanging out together, jamming... that kinda stuff... It's so hard for a lot of us to get to see the band, so pics of the band playing and hanging out are always cool...

I like to see collages as well. It would be cool if Anthrax went back to their Belladonna-era or SOWN logo. I think that looks much better than the Stomp or Vol. 8 logos. It's kinda like how Metallica, Slayer, and Megadeth changed their logos, and they don't look as good. LOTS OF PICS would be awesome and some of Scott's notes like in Attack of Killer B's and A's.

Andythrax is right on. I want some pictures, the lyrics, and some of Scott's liner notes.
Liner notes seem to give you a connection to the album. It's like when I read a book by... Stephen King for example, and King wrote a Preface or Author's Note at the beginning or end of the book. It's just something that connects you with the artist.

Oh, we are going back to the SOWN logo. It'll be that one depicted in a slightly differtent space.

That's cool. I really didn't like the Stomp logo. The Vol. 8 logo was okay, but I like the SOWN and original logos much, much better.

No, no, no, no, no, no! No collages!!! Far too 1987, if they have another collage they might as well go back to wearing shorts and having fringes. And no not man! SOWN was by far the coolest design concept they had, it all looked very serious and very metal. Booklet would be cooler than fold out I think.

Warlord

I dunno if this is relevant or how much control does the band have over this, but it would be cool maybe to include some computer add-on thingys like I dunno maybe like the shit Iron Maiden are using on their reissues... A couple of videos either a live one + like a new video or some band footage or maybe even a small computer game involving Anthrax... like the Traxpacman or whatever... for our viewing pleasure on our pc's - it'd be cool!

As for the Booklet - I'd stick with the format they had on Volume 8 as opposed to a traditional booklet...and why not paint each member of the 'Trax as a Superhero? I'm sure Alex can do it and they can even come up with some cool nicknames too: like Scott "Superjew" Ian ... :)

Peace!

Lyrics and Scott's liner notes are always cool.

For the CD itself, I love what the Offspring do. On each album, they include a multimedia portion on every CD...it includes Kareoke (sp?) versions of the planned releases from the album (ie. the music and backing vocals, but the vocal track is gone, with a bouncing ball over lyrics), as well as all the videos from their last album. They even had a hidden track that wasn't on the music portion of the CD in the multimedia portion. I'd love to see something like this on We've Come For You All.
