It is what we call "bağlama". He is playing pretty good but he is some random guy. Here you can see a famous virtuoso playing it with two other very good musicians. They are some of the "respected" musicians here:

And completely irrelevant, "Jason Becker - Air" cover by a turkish rock band called "Disenchant":

Yeah man, our music is very similar too, cause it is a part of the same cultural heritage. You dance "sirtaki", we do "halay", but when you look at them both, they seem like the same :)
I don’t know how to dance sirtaki !
But I can dance zeimbekiko when I need to.:lol:I have a video of me dancing in a festival

My buddy knows how to play bouxouki and he some times plays rock songs with it:lol: (mostly because 2 of his best friends are metalheads)

Tower Records is a huge friggin' store that had SO many cds, and even though they were alot more expensive, it was worth it sometimes, with the selection they had.

Tower was the place to go back in the days of vinyl, they had the best import selection..sad to see them closing their doors.

Hey that's alright, it's amazing that I lived this long; I'm not ashamed to say that I turn 43 a week from tomorrow. :)

I thought 20-30 was supposed to be the best time to mess around.
At the age of 30 you are old enough to do crazy shit you couldn’t do as a 20 rear old and you are still not too old to act “silly !”

You have finished with all you studies, you have a job, live by your own.
I am going to get a really cool car at 30 and ride all around Europe !

30-40 = usually parenting time :erk:
If I am to have a hellspawn,I like to do so exactly at the age of 30.
I don’t wanna be 60 while my kid is still underage !

It IS pretty sad...we have a pretty prominent one where I am and all I can say is I'm not sure any other place could measure up. And two of my SymX CDs came from a Tower Records in Boston--the live CD and Pinnella's solo. I've never seen the latter carried on the shelves anywhere but there. :(

I've either ordered or gone to tower to get my cds. The only cd I had to order was the selftitled. They even stock Anaal Nathrakh there.
