Official Off Topic Thread

By the way Jax, i don't think anyone has said Thanks for taking the huge amounts of time to count this stuff up. Too bad that people bitch when really this is a huge thing for the fans. It's cool to see bands take an interest like this in what the fans want knowing full well there's no way to please everybody.

Cheers

Thanks Zach..and you're most welcome. :)

I'm not going to get butt hurt over the setlist but I would really like to see one of the accolades, the odyssey and perhaps rediscovery. Would I would like even more is to see them live this time around!:)

Come April it will be my first official symphony x concert, I was told I have to discount Gigantour :(... So at this point I can almost careless about the setlist, what they where doing originally seemed fantastic to me, id like to see them spice it up a little, but as long as I get to see them I will be rather content :)

@ZACH: AwWwWw... How cute!

Hmm. I wonder what the next week will be. Maybe I should check the university calendar later today.

Today I'm going to read a book and then shred some Symphony X stuff. That's about it.

And now visiting my parents and returning to my city in an hour or so. Doh, I just remembered I gotta vacuum my apartment. I got pwned. :erk:

Gryphon to make new album!

After a silence of thirty one years the band have finally decided to produce a new album. Whilst there is no timescale planned, it is envisaged that it will be released in the Summer of 2008. There is the possibility of one live performance in London which is currently being discussed and will be announced nearer the time, but no further dates are planned as yet, although this may change closer to the time of the album's release.
Thanks to all our fans for their constant support and encouragement.... watch this space!

Ohboyohboyohboy.

Cloverfield monster audition, lost tape (aka bored at work ;)) BTW, he was supposed to PRETEND to run into me...but I guess the filmmaker has to be prepared to sacrifice to get the perfect shot :goggly:

Akerfeldt rejoins Bloodbath. I have no idea what this means, aside from the obvious, but maybe some of you will be happy...

Speaking of Cloverfield, I saw it and thought it was pretty decent. Worth a watch. It's apparently making a lot of people motion sick, though.

I'm happy. I think Peter's vocals on Nightmare were much better than Mike's vocals on Resurrection and Breeding, but i like the Mike albums much better as far as content. I wish Peter would still do it, but since he can't I'm glad they got Mike for the job.

And i got to see them live at Wacken with mike for their only live show ever... it owned.

To the first question, thank god NO...I swear, it was all a blur that seemed to happen in slow motion...some people in other departments were wondering what in god's name that shriek was :D As to the mad shitter, that guy is long gone, so I don't think we'll ever find out...but if I spot his work, you'll be the first to know :)

Cloverfield rocked like hell, in my opinion (whatever that means).

Definitely worth seeing, and definitely IN THE THEATER.
Supposedly a sequel is in the works...

Where there is money to be had, there is a sequel.

I would like to watch this movie soon. It looks pretty good from what I have seen of it.
