nah, i think the squel will be of another group of people experiencing things as a parallel of the first one. if you watch the scene on the bridge, Hud stops his camera on another camera holder who is in turn looking at hud. i think part 2 will be of that guy and his crews experience. i don't really want to know what it is or where it came from anyway. that isn't what the movie was about in the first place. it was about the people experiencing it, and their fear of not knowing what is going on.

i love that the first person view we had the whole time was called HUD (heads up display). it really made me feel like i was in there with the characters.

I saw Kiko Loureiro from Angra do a clinic at school today and got to meet him. It ruuuuled. What an underrated guitarist. If you haven't seen his solo stuff, go check out the YouTube vids.
Wait, what?! I wanna see Kiko Louriero put on a clinic at my school!!

Actually, I'd rather see Joe Satriani put on a clinic at my school, especially since he graduated from my school.

I didn't know Satch graduated from your school, that's sweet.

If Kiko ever shows up at your school, do check it out, though. He was awesome - I had no idea the kind of chops he had at all styles of music, and his compositions are really great. He was a really nice guy, too.

Yeah, Satch graduated from Five Towns College apparently. Or so the legends say. They make a big deal at my school about what great people in media happen to be alumni, and Joe Satriani was the only one who struck my interest. I want to find out who his teacher was too, because if I could learn from the same person as the Satch did, I would give anything to have in my music what he has in his.

Usually when I hear that song, I don't think of Flashdance, but rather the movie Tommy Boy where Chris Farley is dancing in place at a gas station whilst covered with mud & manure following epic cow tipping with his brother-in-law Rob Lowe :D

Man.. just yesterday I went to a club for the first time. I'm 18 and the bouncer dude gave me one of those tags that means that I'm 21. My friends made a big deal out of it lol.
Anyways, I'm in the club to dance cause I got some serious moves, no lie. I find a cutie on the floor, grab her, and start dancing with her. About 30 secs. into the sweet dancing she goes all b2c ( booty to crotch ) on me. At first I'm like, woah.. then I'm like uh.. ew. I don't even know this chick and she's got her ass all up on me and shit and I just dance it off and then grab her hips and twist her around and dance normal with her for a while.
My question, is it wrong for a guy to think that b2c is a turn off?
Oh yeah, there was hilarious dancing going on, there was this one girl who was on every single guy she danced with like a slut.. and there was this one dude with a blue vest on dancing so fucked up it was just so funny.

Cloverfield rocked like hell, in my opinion (whatever that means).

Definitely worth seeing, and definitely IN THE THEATER.

Supposedly a sequel is in the works...

OH MY GOD!!!!

I just saw this movie yesterday, I believe it's about the last week in the theatre - or very close to it - for you Aussie fools who haven't seen it yet.. go do so right away!!!

I loved it! Probably the most scary and exciting movie I've seen in a very long time, if not ever! That's a big call I know.. but it was made so well, Abrams is a genius! :notworthy I'm dying to go and see it again some time this week before it finishes up.. and if there's a sequel, please please don't screw it up!

Spoiler alert:

I loved how they didn't show the monster all that much, and didn't explain really anything about it, kept the suspense going really well, and when you do finally see the monster - well for me anyway - you just think 'hooooooooooly shit!!!' and when you finally see its face when it kills Hud I was terrified! lol! The romance aspect was kind of annoying (as it usually is), but it wasn't too bad, and it was fairly well done so that you actually give some kind of a shit about the welfare of the characters etc. Also I don't know anything about cinema technology, but however they managed to pull off awesome monsters on 'amateur' looking camera work, I dunno, but it was brilliant. Oh and also cool how whenever the camera 'drops' it manages to do so in a way that creates a cool artistic kinda scene shot. Massive thumbs up!

Geez, lighten up mr sainthood.. she didnt take you home and screw you or give you a bj in the toilet, so why does a little drunken dancing make a girl a slut? you're gonna need to learn to get over that attitude or you'll piss off every girl who isn't 'little miss bible basher' when you go out..

that's just my 2 cents..
