I have to say Final Fantasy 12 is the longest, most boring game I have ever played. I don't know what the rest of you think but, I just can't get into this. I bought a PS2 just to play this game.

mmm. they just made a futurama movie, and they are going to make 3 more. when they finish, they're gonn splitt them up into episodes and air it on tv as new material.

that attitude is part of what makes me separate myself from the large part of the metal crowd....it's a shame because metal does make up a considerable amount of the music I listen to ( at least to some extent...not as much as in the past) but I just can't get into the mentality that so many of those guys have. This is a pretty good forum overall...I would've been banned from any other forum long ago for referencing some of the bands I listen to that I've mentioned here

yeha, i feel like many metal fans like the appearance of the metal crowd more than the music itself. it makes them feel strong and badass. they just taek up that "if your aren't listening to what i lik you aren't REAL man" attitude.

yeah, it's sad really and doesn't do the music itself much justice. I can't imagine many bands liking the fact that some of their fans are going around in their t-shirts representing them with such douchery.
I think my favorite experience with one of those douchebag metalhead types was last semester when I got asked to join this band. I was up in the school cafe practicing some stuff for my fingerstyle class and this guy (a drummer) sat down in front of me and asked me if I was Drew. I told him yes and he goes "great....i was wondering if you want to join my metal band. You have long hair and I know you can play fast, we'd just need you to get a better guitar"...mind you I was playing my 2000 dollar (well only 600 actually...but if would've been 2000 dollars from a sales guy who knew what he was doing) musicman and it was brand new at the time. I just said "no thanks, I don't have the time for that right now, but why don't you ask this other guy...". He proceeded to pick up my papers and slam them on the ground whilst yelling " this pussy-ass shit is more important than being in a metal band?!!??! FUCK YOU!!!", then walked off.

at first I was about 2 seconds from standing up and knocking a few swings worth of sense into him, but I just let it go and laughed about it. It was too ridiculous to even let myself get worked up about it. The same guy is currently about to be kicked out of school because he went up to the counter at the cafe and asked a friend of mine who works there if she "has ever had a fat cock in her mouth" (direct quote) while the Dean was standing right there.

that's what makes you better than him. you made a good , tough, decision my man. you and those like you are why i still have faith in metal. it CAN be an eyeopening mind opening/expanding addition to your life.

I love the older episodes of The Simpsons, and dislike the new ones. The Simpsons movie was like a combination of the 2 styles, and overall, I thought it was pretty good.
