Exactly, that's why I said I'm still open to the idea. I just feel at this point in time, when our collective understanding of the universe basically equates to a number close to zero with only hypothesis' to go on, that it is too early to credit a higher form of intelligence for our existence. I never said it cannot be there but, the explanations and attributes people have given "it" so far do nothing to explain "it". Only question after question are posed, with no answers being close in sight.
Ken, are you a math major?
Yeppp its like the more we dig, the less we know. Sorta like an empty box that constantly grows. We come to know a lot about that box, but it doesn't really explain all that much about what is in it.
Personally, I like the theory that our universe is a small part of something much larger. Just as an atom is a small part of a human, the earth could be an atom in something much bigger. So as things get larger they also grow in complexity just as a plankton for example is simpler than a fish.
Generally I'd say that the universe and everything around it is beyond us. We will never fully understand it, just as a 2d square could never imagine what a 3d cube would be like. Just thinking of something that theoretically goes FOREVER blows my mind.
Also, if our planet is just an atom in something massive (like a super-complex humanoid for example), then the god thing doesn't really matter too much. We would be too small and insignificant to worry about.
