Wow, something I've never heard of, Jeff. I checked the website - sounds pretty tasty with Columbus and Centennial on top, a wee Chinook. Looks like it will be somewhere between the intense Chinook assault of AB and the citrus wallop of Celebration. A 1.080 SG that produces 9.1% ABV must finish pretty dry - that would finish around 1.011. I would look for more residuals and esthers against the hops - 105 IBU is pretty bitter. I wish they would list their grain bill.

They say they're expanding distribution though - perhaps they'll come out my way. They're already in AZ and CO. But, NM has crap distribution franchise laws.

A short list of things that are pissing me off today:

-People who use their blinkers too long when getting on a freeway onramp. Please, indicate that you are getting on the freeway then turn the fucker off. I don't need to be looking at a blinking light the entire way up the circular onramp because you're too lazy to turn it off manually.

-Too goddamn many rye chips in my Gardetto's. Where are all the fucking pretzels!?!??!

Ok, some improvements perhaps? I'm looking for some residual sugars with the Crystal malts. Some Carapils to give mouthfeel and wheat for a rocky head. A little higher OG with the hopes of a higher FG to ensure enough sugar balance for the immense hops profile. I went with a basic Chico yeast (Sierra Nevada), but figured a warmer ferment (~70-72°) would add more esters. The color is a bit dark probably - maybe more 60° and drop the 150° Crystal. I actually wanted 120°, but that's not in my grain database. Looks like I need an update. The Munich and Victory should give a slight nuttiness, but maybe that should be eschewed since the hops will beat up the delicacy pretty badly.

If any of you guys get the home shopping network, be sure to turn it on and order loads of USDA prime hamburgers. My aunt helped get HSN set up with that product so she makes 5% commission on every box sold. She needs to get rich off of this because I need someone to pay for my college tuition.;)

The storm is on it's way. I just saw some lightning out there and heard the thunder. I love thunderstorms (especially when you can watch it from indoors without getting wet).

At least they use them out there.

I almost killed another jogger the other day, young hottie running while listening to her Ipod, abruptly changed direction and went to sprint accross the intersection as I was driving through it (I had the green light...) . Almost ran into the side of my car, then had the balls to give me the evil eye. Too bad I didn't run her over, and crush her head like a ripe melon... Darwin award in trainnig...

any web link? I'm about to head back to school here shortly and I like a) buying food in bulk for cheap and b)hamburgers.....maybe i'd be interested

These are the best grade meat available and they amount to $2.00 a burger. We got some to try before they went on air today and they're so good. It's like eating a steak on a bun.
