Yeah, although I have heard that the odds of something (Strangelet, Ice 9, stabilized black hole etc etc) happening are analogous to winning the lottery 13 times in row. Oh well, if I had to choose a way to go, I would pick something from that list.

The earth can't end. I still haven't tried an Arnold Palmer.

Seriously, I just went through the forum and opened new browser tabs on a few threads... I clicked through them, and they all have people talking about Arnold Palmers.

I want a new Planet X album and the new Derek Sherinian trilogy to get released before the end of the world.

A threesome with 2 girls would also be awesome...

I think there is some consequence of Relativity where you can't go back in time. However, we could build a ship that goes 99.999999999% the speed of light and traverse the universe in about 20 years!:p

Hahahha  As I predicted, all of the fireworks in the Opening Ceremony were Red & Yellow. Awesome.

Also, Leno quizzed people on the street about the olympics. Questions like, why was the '44 games cancelled, where is the olympics now, where are poles from, how many medals did ikea win... I recognize that they only aired the dumbest answers, but damn... Americans are ridiculously uneducated.

Oh, I gotta edit!!! The people Leno interviewed were Education Majors and Engineers.

After 18 hours of driving followed immediately by 4 hours of hauling stuff from my old apartment to the new one...sitting down right now is the best "sit" I've had in a long time.

^ Congrats on the new apartment. Moving is annoying as Hell especially if one has gathered lots of junk during the years. Usually during the moving process one easily might think "Do I really have use with this ancient 30kg cell phone battery?" :D

I registered to Last.fm again. A link to my profile is in my signature. Anyway when I met this girl she got me into listening to music again. Before that I listened only for transcriptional purposes, and mostly Symphony X. Now I found Kamelot, Killswitch Engane, Scar Symmetry among many other bands. I never imagined I would listen the last two.

The museum I've been working in is quite awesome place. Nobody ever, even in accident, wanders there so I'm alone most of the time. The last two visitors were on Tuesday. I've read lots of books (actually the employer suggested some good reading because she knew there would be more quiet periods during the summer.) and on this week I took it one step further: I took my electric guitar with me. From Wednesday I've been playing guitar all day long. :D

+1. I'm actually really proud of how much stuff I managed to get rid of. I'm just so sick of moving...when I was home for the summer I spend a month helping my parents renovate and move into their new house...which is also what I spent last summer doing. I went into this move with two goals:

1-Downsize my things (even though I'm in a much bigger apartment, albeit with a roommate this time)
2-get it over with as fast as possible...after I got here and moved the stuff last night, I spent 6 hours unpacking and situating things, followed by a few more hours finishing that up today, getting my electric/cable/internet all trasferred over, buying groceries and whatever else I needed. Tiring...but it feels good to be done.

I like it so far...and it's infinitely better than St. Anger. I'm not exactly jumping out of my seat and dancing...but it's enough to keep on the "things to buy" list.

Actually, I think it's pretty good. I'm not a huge Metallica fan by any means, but it does sound tolerable. Although, this is coming from someone who actually enjoys Load and Reload.:loco:
