Thankfully this is the last weekend in September, because that theater gig was doing is finally over with. Considering I've got a pretty important recital in less than two months, it'll be nice to have weekends again
Mine also...
So anyway, today our music store got held up... Apparently some *insert nasty name here* held a knife at my Grandpa, who was upstairs in the shop where I usually am, and took off with money from the register... My Uncle chased him down once the knife was away, and he and a legendary truck driver held him down until the cops arrived thanks to another guy who called them as soon as he saw what was happening... So at least the guy got caught. Apparently he had a big knife and a bloody syringe in his bag as well...
Well that's the crazy part, I would've been there, except that it was my first day off work in a couple of months...
My Grandpa was fine, thankfully, and my Uncle only got a cut lip and skinned knees stopping the guy, but it could've gone much worse...
There were some stupid idiots who were just standing there abusing my Uncle and the truckie for apprehending the guy, how ridiculous is that? I've got a few things I'd like to point out to them though...
Zach is my hero.
Yes, a head-on with a packed articulated T500 (a bus here in Adelaide) would have been good. Hope your grandpa and uncle are ok, Dan.Damn...glad to hear that situation turned out so much better than it could have. It's too bad the guy didn't find himself in the middle of some oncoming traffic when running from your uncle.
If by mediocre you mean talented, top of the genre (prog/power/symphonic), with an amazing vocalist, then I agree with you
Alright Ken...I knew I wasn't crazy...in this thread about Serenity (8th post down) on the ProgPower forum, you say, and I quote..."I love this band"
I wouldn't call them "generic". But they're nothing new...
