Totaled the auto on the way to work this morning. I'm bummed. Thirteen years I had that car.

Damn, that sucks ass! I totally relate. I totaled my other car a couple of years ago.

I would say I'll raise a toast to your car this evening, but it seems so inappropriate somehow to drink to a car... drinking and driving don't mix at all.

Nah, when I crashed my other car I got so damn wasted the day after my friends had to grab me by the hands and legs and throw me at the bed .

EDIT: Okay, details time...

"the plan" was that I took Rin up to this hill over the city at night, same place we went when we first started dating and her alone before that. I made up some stuff (no rehearsal) and we switched the identical rings we'd been wearing for a year or so. Our fingers are the same size so that works. It's kind of symbolic because it's like "this one's got your dings and scratches, and that one has mine, which we share" etc. Then today I took her to get one with a rock on it, if she wanted one. Said pick any one and it's yours. So we did. Then told the parents/friends.

Anyone ever had an experience like this?:

I was cleaning the storage room where all shit of my older sister's is etc.
So I found a box full of cassettes, most of them being pretty normal tapes of whatever my sister listened to 10 years ago (which seriously wasn't metal, more like, Alanis Morrisette or U2 or something), but then there is an unopened plastic package there and inside there is A DEMO TAPE OF A TURKISH BLACK METAL BAND, Pagan - Heathen Upheaval (1998).
