oh man that's just so fucking terrible. i mean sure if it works for you then right but AAAARGH just the god damn THOUGHT! argh!Anyhow, while I'm not exactly recommending the "don't ask don't tell" theory I presented last night, if someone I truly loved cheated on me, I wouldn't ever want to know.
this is extremely accurateNADatar said:Besides, when someone confesses to that all they are doing is making their own guilty conscience feel better by making the victim feel worse.
Exactly. The thought alone is terrible, and even more so if you know it to be fact. So why not live your life in complete ignorance of the fact that your wife got doubleteamed by 8' tall black dudes when you were on vacation without her last year?Erik said:oh man that's just so fucking terrible. i mean sure if it works for you then right but AAAARGH just the god damn THOUGHT! argh!
because shit like that almost always comes up to the surface somehow. even if it is 8 years later, imagine knowing that you spent X years of your life with her, with her knowing it, and you not. it's the kind of thing that drives a man to fucking murder.NADatar said:Exactly. Yeah, I'm completely leaving out the psychological aspect to my various comments, because there can be any number of reasons why someone would cheat to begin with.lurch70 said:my take on all this ...
if you are tempted away from your WIFE ... I would look into WHY ... and fast
I am not a cheater, as I would hate it if my SO was doing it to me ... but I recognize that the few times I have been tempted (and once followed through) was because the current relationship was in trouble to begin with.
