Online vs. Offline rendering in reaper

Rendered/bounced a track in Cubase with 3rd party and "in house" plugs (EQ, comp, etc.), reimported both, flipped the phase on one = silentium.

Just a small point for future reference, but remember that 'round robin' or random drum, keyboard, etc. samples will not yield digital silence because the samples will not be occurring in the same order each time the song is exported.

Yeah, same goes for some software synths, especially ones involving LFOs. I found in my test that some Virtual Instruments will never export the same way twice, regardless of whether it is online or offline rendering.
 
But of course that's no indicator of the superiority of one bouncing method or another! (not saying either of you guys were implying that, just wanted to put it out there for the record :D)
