Opeth DVD menu problems?

Hey all,

I seem to be having severe problems with my new Opeth DVD - The title screen is stretched beyond the edges of my screen and there's also no way of telling where i am within the menu - randomly pressing the scroll buttons and enter seems to work but there's no way of knowing where i am! I take it this is a faulty disk??

P.S I'm in AU with a multi-region DVD player and i've never had a problem like this before.

I've got a region 2 lamentations dvd in UK on a multi region player and all works fine, u must have faulty disc mate

There are occasionally player-specific bugs with some DVDs. For example, my version of The Shawshank Redemption won't work properly on my DVD player, but works perfectly on any other I've tried it with. It's usually a problem on the player-side of things, but can occasionally be because of a problem with the disc. Usually it's not a faulty individual disc, but I wouldn't rule it out.

Lots of finns had this same problem but the problem wasn't with the DVD. It's just that some preferences in your DVD player are not right...just try changing everything and see if it works.

Try changing your screen settings from 4:3 Pan & Scan to 4:3 Letterbox, or vice versa.

I had the same problem, but I fixed it (indeed by changing the 4:3 settings)

Thanks guys!!! Changing from 4:3 Pan & Scan to 4:3 Letterbox did the trick!
