I've only listened to it once, and really enjoyed it. But it probably doesn't belong to be ranked alongside Book Of Shadows or Damnation just yet..

His Kung Fu is not proven to be that great, IMO. My sister loves it, though.

I gave Opeth a chance a while back, and while it sounded good, the songs never grabbed me. Seemed to serve better as background music. I am keen to give them another go now though, when I can be bothered getting around to it.

The album Damnation is nothing but a 'KC and the like' emulation. Can't say much for the rest. Teenage seeking stuff..

I picked it up on the weekend.
Had about 3 or 4 full listens through so far.
Tis pretty fuckin rockin'

Has alot more clean vocals and sections compared to their other albums, but that is fine with me. I love Mikaels voice in clean mode and in cookie monster mode

Highly reccomended.

The end of Harlequin Forest is pretty insane
I love the keys intro to Beneath the Mire
The Grand Conjuration just kicks ass from stard to end
Ghost of Perdition blows your nuts off from the start. Love the Tool vibe during the clean vocal section

According to Blabbermouth, "Ghost Referees" entered the Aussie charts at #35. Quite impressive.
