I attended an Opeth gig earlier on this year, at The Enmore Theatre, Sydney. To this date, it was utterly the most fantastic night of my life.

was gonna go to it, but decided to wait til they stop during on damnation...

damnation is a good cd, it's just boring live

Saw them once in '01. My knees are still shaking! I just wish I caught them the last time they were here.

Sounds pretty similar to the drummer in my band. He's from Columbia, and he speaks english pretty well, but sometimes he just looses the conversation and will just say "yeah man" and "fuckin yeah" for a while till he catches on again.

Everyone's either too busy getting pissed or playing half-arsed nu-metal/rock covers.

Only seen them once, here in Denmark. Extol supported them. And they were awesome, so was Opeth. Great night.

I wouldnt say it was boring live, actually i was suprised how much i enjoyed the songs from damnation when i saw them live. They dont go off like Demon of the Fall, The Leper Affinity and their other heavier stuff does, but they are pretty good to see live!.

The line up for the concert i saw was great, they had a mix of heavy and soft stuff. haha after they went of stage the crowd didnt leave, instead we shouted until they came back onstage and played demon of the fall.

saw them twice, and both times it was mindblowing. plus, they're really down to earth chaps
