I'm thinking of recording a whole track anyway. Even if it doesn't sound perfect it would be fun to do. I just can't be bothered programming a whole drum track

I just signed up to Acid Planet. They want you to upload all the files in Windows Media format. That's friggin ridiculous. The search for a decent music host continues...

I'm starting work on a Dreamscape cover (old In Flames) with a few guys. I'm hoping to have it posted up here in a week or two... it really depends how long it takes the other guys to learn their parts. Can't wait, I love that track.

I had a problem with how this one turned out and decided to post it to see if anyone could advise me on how to fix it,im guessing its called clipping? that static that comes out more frequently after the first section,it wasnt audible when I was laying the tracks down and playing them back,it only became audible when I mixed it down to mp3.

Yeah, you're trying to run it way too loud. You need to make sure that your levels are low enough when you're mixing, and also that you don't try to mixdown too hot.

If you have Cool Edit or something similar, use the Clip Restoration function.
