If you are still in desperate need of some samples of Opeth's music, Then I suggest that you pay a visit to www.cdnow.com and conduct a search for ''Opeth''. You will then be able to listen to a few brief samples from each album.

You have the internet, good. Now get something like Kazaa lite, then download some Opeth songs. Search under "Opeth". If/once you like them, puchase their albums. You can try www.amazon.com, or your local music store.

Sorry, I don't personally use it. But then again, I'm not too fond of IRC, either. It's just easier to use, I suppose (P2P), but not as effective or resourseful.
