For Serenity is a melodic metalcore instrumental that I wrote that was intended to capture the feelings of self-hatred, self-pity, suicidal thoughts and depression that I've had recently as my girlfriend, who I had been with for 10 months, recently decided to break up with me. I decided to put all the feelings surrounding the breakup put them into a song and this song is the result.
I got emotional during the process of making this song as this is the culmination of all my thoughts and feelings throughout this breakup but I am still a LONG way from healing.
