Just got my boat ticket to Milwaukee. It should be kinda neat crossing Lake Michigan by this boat that I am taking. It is going to be three days of pure debauchery with my brother. He said he was down to hang out with emtfhII to drink a few beers at a bar somewhere too. Things have been kinda shitty lately so I am definitely looking forward to this trip in August and the trip this weekend:rock:

Soccer tonight: I take the first half in goal and let in 3 goals...granted 2 of them were on breakaways, and we were still leading 5-3 at half time. 2nd half, I move out to striker, pot 2 goals myself and assist on 2 others, as we romp to an 11-5 victory. Whoever said soccer was a low-scoring, boring game?

i wish there was a boat to take folks from Chicago to Michigan. My SIL has a cottage in Three Rivers (or Three Oaks, I can't remember where). We would go more if it weren't for the fact that we have to go into Indiana to get there. 80/94 is the worst highway ever! And the Skyway isn't any better.

I debated with myself on whether I should drive and save a few bucks or would I rather sit on a really nice boat, relax and have a few cocktails while I waited. It was a tough decision:D . I couldn't justify getting my blood pressure going through the roof while driving on the Dan Ryan and through Chicago. I can't stand Chicago traffic. I would probably go postal if I drove in New York:lol: . Plus I am shaving off 2 and a half hours off my trip by taking the boat.

I'll have my trusty headphones with me on my little jaunt across Lake Michigan. Good scotch, music, no traffic and my brother is picking me up in Milwaukee so it doesn't matter how buzzed I get. What could be better?
