Tied 4-4 in soccer tonight. Only managed one goal myself, but thought about the coulda-beens: one of my shots hit the post, another off the crossbar, two more right at the goalie, and a couple more missed the net. I suck.

Tonight should be a good night. I'm going to an all you can eat taco dinner at the VFW Hall and they sell .75 cent beers. Then hang out with my buddies and jam for a good while. Then drink more beers
Esks have another home game tonight. With our coaching, we're going to get our asses kicked, so I'll have to rely on drinking lots of beer.

Well, I'm working Saturday, and then Sunday we're going to go do the mother-in-law-birthday-thing.
I planned ahead this year and got her gift right after Christmas. She's a Starbucks junkie, and I picked up two bags of Christmas Blend and vacuum-packed them and stuck them in my freezer. I buy it for her for Christmas every year, and she'll only drink it on Sundays to make it last longer, but it's still gone by March or April. She's gonna shit when she sees it in July.

I had an appointment on Tuesday that I made two months ago (was the soonest available). I left an hour before, because it's a new office (I've been a patient for six years) and I live in another county, so I gave myself plenty of time. I got there 30 minutes early.
At 25 minutes PAST my appointment time, I asked how much longer it would be, and was told AN HOUR!!!! When I asked how it was even remotely possible to be that far behind before lunch, she just said "It happens" with a shrug. I reminded her that I had made the appointment TWO MONTHS AGO and that I held up my end by being EARLY. She said I could go get some lunch and come back, but there was no guarantee on the time.
If I waited another hour, then however long they took after I got back, I wouldn't be home in time to pick up my son from school. So I said, I need a new prescription AND my exam, and I don't have another two months to wait for it, and she tells me it WOULD take that long to get in again. Not even that she'd try to get me in sooner or anything. And it REALLY pissed me off because I've been a patient there for six years and these are the people that delivered my kids!!! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So I just called my family doctor and asked if they recommended anyone and they gave me a name AND he takes my insurance, so apparently I am meant to go there. AND they got me an appointment for 3 weeks, not TWO MONTHS. I like them already.
