Ahhh Schnapp! I don't feel like dying at the moment. So I think I will stick with my 80 proof Johnnie Walker that is chilling in my freezer. This is what my Johnnie Walker and I will be riding shortly.

I always have cold beer. My beer fridge in the basement has 60 bottles, comprising 30-40 different varieties at any given time. Then there's usually another dozen or so chilling in the kitchen fridge.

I hate you:lol:

I can't even keep a twelve pack of Pabst on hand for beer "emergencies". What are you going to do when Antonio gets to the age of wanting to see why you fuss so much about beer and decides to try out some of his dads?

My tastes have changed since I started drinking. We rate based on a number of categories, including look, smell, taste, aftertaste, drinkability. Before I started all of this, I probably wouldn't have given Boddington's a second thought (might have even considered it gross), and I certainly wouldn't have thought that look or smell contributes to a beer as much as it does. As I said, my tastes have changed, my horizons expanded. Boddington's may not be the best in any given category (except looks rate a 10 out of 10), it does rate above average in all categories.

It isn't the perfect beer (it's average rating from 6 raters is 7.68 out of 10; I gave it a 7.85 personally; yeah, that is our best rating so far...we're harsh critics), but I keep searching hoping to find the "perfect" beer. Something that looks like a Guiness, smells like a Granville Island Lions Winter Ale, etc...maybe I'll just have to brew it myself...

And no, I haven't tried Kalik yet. As far as I know, it's not available in Alberta, so I'll have to look for it on a trip.
