Well, it seems to have not been as severe as what the radio said yesterday. I drove by my local gas station this morning and the price was $3.42. It still sucks ass though. I am by no means living large and it really affects my personal life and I have to really be picky with what I choose to do now. Looks like I will be having to cut some corners:Smug: .
 
I wish I could ride the bus/train to work since I live 23 miles away. However, all the public transportation in Chicago is designed to get you from the suburbs to downtown, and not for getting you from suburb to suburb. It sucks. Especially since a lot of companies have their headquarters in the burbs now.
 
If a fucker is comfortable paying $4 for a cup of caramello macciatto @ Starfucks, the fucker must be consistent and bite the bullet. WE ARE FIGHTING TERROR OVER HERE!!!!
On a serious note, it's hard to admit, but it was $1.60 just 3 years ago.
