My son might be traumatized for life if he sees this picture, therefore I think it qualifies to be included in this thread:

And so this one gets honorable mention, even if it lacks originality:

I hate how everything is automated "for our convenience"

If I call the phone company, it's 10 minutes before I can get a live person. And it's not even "for ______ press 1, for ________ press 2", they've got it so automated that you have to say whatever you're calling about. And if you don't word it the way they've got it set up to recognize it, it makes you keep going through it til you do. AND you get to feel like a moron for talking to a machine that can't even understand you. And one time, I forget what I was calling for, but I went through all of that and then it told me the department I wanted was closed and I would have to call back tomorrow.

The only place I can call and get a live person is the water company, and that's because they're still pretty small. I'm sure it will change eventually. But I only call them to bitch about my low water pressure....which isn't fixed by changing shower heads.

I got to make a ninja turkey tonight. Joe was sent home with a construction paper turkey, and you have to give him a disguise so he won't be made into Thanksgiving dinner. So we made him a ninja, with $100 chrome kamas and $40 silver chuks (I happened to grab a catalog at karate tonight). He's only a blue belt, so he's got some working out to do, and also while he's wearing a ninja mask and outfit, his feathers are still pretty colorful. Hopefully he knows some moves, or he'll be front-kicking his way into the oven.
