OT: Who gets the last word?

I'm looking forward to it.

I unlocked "Madhouse" and "The Trooper" on Guitar Hero last night. I'm usually pretty good (on easy mode) at playing songs that I'm familiar with, but I only managed 3 stars out of 5 on both of them...they're pretty tough. Then I found out I won't be able to unlock Megadeth until I play medium mode...

About a third of the way through 'The Cell' myself. Anyone read it? They just crossed the New Hampshire(Hamster) border. That's was as far as got lastnight until Craig Ferguson. I luv Conan but that dude is a riot!:loco:

I'm jealous that the 360 version has "The Trooper".

I'm glad my husband is a much better player than me, cuz otherwise, I'd still probably still only have the first set of songs!
 
The Trooper is tough enough on easy. I'm going to have to improve a hell of a lot if I'm going to beat it on medium. Then again, I've only played it once, so I'm sure with a bit of practise I'll manage. It looks like I'll be able to buy a Shadows Fall song from the store to play as well.

I read Cell. I liked it okay, but it seems like a cross between The Stand and The Mist....aka not too original. It falls in the same category as Lisey's Story: not the best, not the worst.
 
Red Wings will bow out early again as usual, and Nashville will probably not go far either. The only reason that either team is as high up in the standings as they are is because they benefit from the easiest schedule in getting to play St. Louis, Chicago, and Columbus 24 times. Final four predictions: Vancouver vs. San Jose (though Anaheim could slip in their in they get back on track for the playoffs), and Buffalo vs. Jersey (unless the coaching change backfires, then Ottawa might actually do something this year).

Meanwhile, the Oilers couldn't even compete in the AHL right now. The sooner Kevin Lowe gets fired, the better.
 
Check again. The Blackhawks passed the Oilers in the standings with their win over Detroit last night. Since trading Smitty, the Oilers are 1-17-1. And the one win came in a shootout. In those 19 games, with they've scored 21 goals, and have been shut out 5 times. They haven't scored in 8 periods, and have been shut out in 2 straight games against by a rookie goalie.
